What did I learn in this week? Many things. I learn how hard it is to start a business, how hard it is to get approvals, how difficult it is make a new business to be known, how many things you should know and prepare before you start and how challenging it is to lead a big group of new people that I never know before.
Beginning of starting our business, lots of challenges occurs. Even people don’t say this but I know and I realize that many people think low of our idea of doing this business. But, that’s what they are wrong. They don’t know us, don’t understand us. And we proved them wrong. People can’t see how hard we tried to make our business a success.
Getting the approval is a pain. We’re running out of time to get the approval because too many procedures to follow, the dean is not here and the YAB Principal is out to KL and that day is the last day of the week to get it, or else we need to wait 3 more days before getting it. How unluckily of us, we didn’t manage to get the approval in time. Therefore, our business got delayed one week.
Handling big group of new people from not only different races but also from different countries is very challenging. We can’t cooperate well. What went wrong? Is it me whom not capable of uniting us? Why is it so hard? Why is it my group differs from other groups? What are the things that blocking our way to cooperate well? I tried my best to be a good leader, but maybe it’s still not good enough.
Friendly speaking, the thing that I learned the most from this business activity is that, being a leader is most stressful, need to think many things, extremely tiring and requires a lot of patience. Many people see the job of leaders as an easy job, just gives orders and the underlings will do all the jobs, but that’s wrong. It is totally not true. Especially when you have underlings who are lazy to think and can’t even think solution by themselves. Leader is not a machine that does all the thinking for you.

Wow...that was one long essay...didn't expect you wrote this long. Haha. Mine is so much shorter and so much less formal, just like a normal post with simple crap. Haha.
